Raunak Bagga, born in Odisha, built a distinguished career in game design through specialised education and hands-on entrepreneurship. After completing his B.Tech, he earned an MA in Game Design from Kingston University, London. He began his professional journey as a Game Producer Intern at PlaySimple Games before co-founding Bone Game Studios. He now serves as the CEO of Koolgen Interactives and an Assistant Professor at Avantika University, leading game development and mentoring future designers from his home state.
A Game Designer can build an indie game studio to create and publish original games on mobile, PC, and console platforms or offer freelance design services to studios and teams. Independent developers can monetise their work through platform publishing, in-game monetisation, crowdfunding, and selling game assets on digital marketplaces. Designers can also explore gamification products and industry showcases to broaden reach and attract funding and partnerships.
