BHEL Scholarship: The BHEL Scholarship is a financial assistance program provided by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), one of India’s largest public sector engineering and manufacturing companies. The scholarship aims to support students from economically weaker sections, particularly those who are dependents of BHEL employees, as well as meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds, in pursuing higher education.

• Must be pursuing full-time degree courses in Engineering or Medical fields

INR 3,000 to 5,000 per month.

Indian Oil Academic Scholarships: The Indian Oil Academic Scholarship is a financial assistance program provided by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), one of India’s largest public sector oil and gas companies. This scholarship aims to support students from economically weaker sections, including those from marginalized communities, in pursuing higher education in various fields.

Students from economically weaker sections or reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) pursuing full-time courses in Engineering, MBBS, MBA, or Master’s in Geology/Geophysics.

INR 36,000 per year. Around 2,600 scholarships are offered annually.

NALCO Scholarship: The NALCO Scholarship is a financial assistance program provided by National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a major public sector enterprise in India involved in the production of aluminum and other related products. This scholarship is aimed at supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing higher education in various fields.

• Students pursuing Engineering, MBBS, or MBA courses.
• Preference for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.

Typically INR 15,000 to 20,000 per year

The NTPC Scholarship is a financial aid program provided by the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in India. It is designed to support meritorious students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), who are pursuing higher education in engineering.

Engineering students from SC/ST/PwD categories in the second year of their full-time B.Tech/B.E. Must have scored at least 60% in the first year

PFC Scholarship (Power Finance Corporation): The PFC Scholarship is a financial assistance program provided by Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), a major public sector financial company in India that focuses on the power sector. The scholarship aims to support students from economically weaker sections and marginalized communities in pursuing higher education, particularly in technical and professional fields.

• Students pursuing full-time Engineering or Management courses.
• Applicants should belong to SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories

INR 50,000 to INR 1,00,000 per year

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to children whose parents/guardians belong to one of the following categories, to pursue Pre-Matric education: Tanners, Flayers, Waste Pickers and Persons who are either presently engaged in Manual Scavenging.

The scholarship will be admissible to the children/wards of Indian Nationals who, irrespective of their religion belong to one of the following categories:
Tanners & Flayers.Waste Pickers.Persons who are Manual Scavengers as defined under section 2(I) (g) of the Manual Scavengers Act 2013.Persons engaged in hazardous cleaning as defined in Section 2(I) (d) of the Manual Scavengers Act 2013.

Rate of Scholarship

• Day Scholars: Class 1st to 10th: ? 110/- per month for ten months.
• Hostellers: Class 3rd to 10th: ? 700/- per month for ten months.

Ad-Hoc Grant

• ? 750/- per student per annum to all-day scholars.

The motive of the Adobe India Women-in-Technology Scholarship is to develop gender equality in the tech industry. Talented female students who are in undergraduate and postgraduate tech courses will get a platform to get more knowledge through this scholarship scheme.  It aims to provide them with the support they need to develop the skills they already have.

Saksham is a Scholarship Scheme by the Ministry of Education, implemented by AICTE, aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially-abled children to pursue technical education. This is an attempt to give every young student, who is otherwise specially abled, the opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future through technical education/ knowledge. ₹50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 3 years for the first year admitted students and maximum 2 years for the second year admitted students through lateral entry as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software, etc. The candidate should be admitted to the First year of the Diploma level course OR the Second year of the Diploma level course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE-approved institutions of the respective year. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year.

The Swanath Scholarship Scheme is a 100% centrally funded initiative implemented by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The scheme aims to provide financial support to vulnerable students such as orphans, children affected by COVID-19, and wards of martyred Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces personnel, enabling them to complete their higher education.

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

• The applicant must be studying at a recognised AICTE institution.

• The applicant must be pursuing a degree or diploma course in a regular mode.

• The applicant must not be a beneficiary of any other Central/State/AICTE scholarship.

• The applicant's annual household income must not exceed 8 lakh rupees.

• The applicant must be an orphan, a student who lost parents to COVID-19, or a ward of Armed Forces/Central Paramilitary Forces personnel martyred.

• An amount of ₹50,000 per year will be disbursed to the beneficiary towards their school/college fees and purchase of books, stationery, equipment and software.
• The scholarship will be renewed based on satisfactory academic progress; selection prioritises merit, followed by age and lower family income in tie

This scholarship for SC students is offered for Bachelors, Masters, PhD degree in the field of All courses offered by the universities.

• Only Indian nationals are eligible.Applicants whose parental income is less than Rs.6.00 lakhs are eligible .
• One child of the family shall be eligible under this scheme.
• Applicants shall avail the 33% of the awards earmarked for Women Candidates.
• Applicants who got minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examinations will be selected as per order of merit.

Successful applicants of the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarships will be sanctioned INR 10.00 lakhs grant (INR 5.00 Lakhs + INR 5.00 lakhs) in two instalments - First instalment of Rs.5.00 Lakhs on production of landing permit/I-94 i.e., immigration card and the second instalments on production of 1st Semester results.

Azim Premji Scholarship supports meritorious girl students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing undergraduate or diploma courses.

• The candidate must be a girl student who passed classes 10 and 12 from the government school.

• The candidate must be a full-time student in the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma programme at a government or reputable private institution.

• It is spread across 18 states and one union territory, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, some districts of Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Karnataka.

This scholarships  is provided by Sant Nirankari Mandal. This scheme focuses on needy students who are willing to pursue diploma and degree courses. The educational department will select candidates based on their needs and offer them financial support for the courses like B.A. and BA (HONS), B.Com and B.Com (Hons), B.Sc, Diploma in Engineering, Hotel Management, MCA, Diploma/ Degree or Sports, Instrumental Music, vocal music training from a recognized institute/college in India.

• You must be a first-year regular student pursuing a diploma or degree program from a recognized university in India. 
• The family annual income should not exceed more than 3.50 lakh.
• Must have scored a minimum of 60 % marks in class  12th.
• Should not fail in last qualifying exam or detain by the institute for indiscipline or equivalent.

The Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program is designed to support first-year undergraduate and 5-year integrated students enrolled in technology-based engineering courses at top 50 NIRF-ranked institutions in India. The programme aims to foster future technology leaders by providing financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, with a special emphasis on women.

• The student must be an Indian citizen enrolled in an undergraduate or 5-year integrated programme in fields such as Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Aerospace, AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, or Robotics.

• The student must be enrolled in one of the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering colleges in India.

• Annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹8.5 lakh.

• Preference shall be given to students who are girls, individuals with disabilities, have single/no parents, and transgender individuals.

• The student should not be the recipient of any other scholarship or grant covering the same purpose supported by the Bharti Airtel Foundation.

The Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program offers the following benefits: 

• 100% coverage of annual tuition fees as per the course fee structure of the respective university/institute (up to five years). 

• Full coverage for students residing in campus hostels. The university/institute provides support for students in private accommodations or off-campus hostels, based on the hostel/mess charges, whichever is lower. 

• Provision of a laptop in the first year of the course. 

Department: Skill Development & Technical Education Department The BOC Scholarship, or Building and Other Construction Scholarship, is a program that provides financial assistance to students pursuing technical or engineering education. The scholarship's objectives include:

BPCL Scholarship for Higher Studies: The BPCL Scholarship for Higher Studies is a scholarship program offered by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a leading public sector oil and gas company in India. This scholarship is designed to support students who wish to pursue higher education in India or abroad, particularly in fields related to the oil and gas industry, management, and other professional courses.

Students pursuing technical courses such as Engineering, MBBS, or MBA. oApplicants should be from economically weaker sections or reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).

Approximately INR 50,000 per year.

The CBSE merit scholarship scheme provides scholarships to the meritorious Single Girl Students, who are the only child of their parents, have passed the CBSE Class X Examination with 70% or more marks, and are continuing their further school education in Class XI and XII. 

• Applicant must be a Single Girl Child (only child of parents; twins/triplets born together are also treated as SGC).

• The applicant must be an Indian National.

• Must have passed CBSE Class X with 70% or more marks.

• Must be studying in Class XI or XII in a CBSE-affiliated school.

• The applicant’s household income must not exceed 8 lakh rupees.

• The student may avail other concessions provided by the school or other organisations.

• Scholarship is payable for a maximum period of two years (Class XI and XII).

• Payment is made through ECS/NEFT.

Duration & Renewal

• Scholarship is initially awarded for one year (Class XI).

• Renewal for Class XII is subject to:

  • Promotion to the next class

  • Securing 70% or more marks in the previous examination

  • Good conduct and regular attendance

  • Having received the scholarship in the previous year

• Once cancelled, the scholarship cannot be renewed.

The Government of India has implemented the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families for pursuing higher education in colleges and universities.

• The student must have scored above 80% in Class 12 from a recognised Board.

• The student must be enrolled in a regular undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated, or technical course, not a distance or correspondence course.

• The student's annual family income should be less than ₹4.5 lakh.

• The student should not be availing any other scholarship or fee reimbursement scheme.

• The student's age must be between 18 and 25.

• Diploma students are not eligible for this scheme.

• Graduation level: ₹12,000 per annum for the first three years

• Postgraduate level: ₹20,000 per annum

• Integrated/5-year courses: ₹12,000 for the first three years, ₹20,000 for the fourth and fifth years.

• 4-year technical courses (B.Tech/B.E.): ₹12,000 for first three years, ₹20,000 for final year

• Renewal: Awarded annually based on satisfactory academic performance and regular attendance

Department: Ministry Of Social Justice and Empowerment                                                          A scholarship scheme by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment for regular, full-time students from Scheduled Castes studying in Class 9th and 10th in a Govt. School / a School recognized by Govt. / CBSE / State Board of Secondary Education.

The applicant must be a student.The applicant must be studying in Class 9th or Class 10th.The applicant must be from Scheduled Caste.The Total Income of parents/guardian of the applicant must be less than or equal to ₹ 2.5 lakh per annum.

Scholarship (₹ per month) (for 10 months in an academic year): ₹ 225 for Day Scholars, ₹ 525 for Hostellers.Books and Ad hoc Grant (₹ per annum): ₹ 750 for Day Scholars, ₹ 1000 for Hostellers.

Coal India Limited (CIL) Scholarship: The Coal India Limited (CIL) Scholarship is a financial assistance program offered by Coal India Limited, a state-owned coal mining company in India. This scholarship aims to support the education of students from economically weaker sections, particularly those who are the dependents of CIL employees, as well as students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and other marginalized communities.

Students belonging to SC/ST categories pursuing professional courses like Engineering, MBBS, MBA, etc.Must have passed their previous examination with at least 60% marks.

Typically INR 10,000 to 15,000 per year, though this can vary

The Corteva Agriscience Scholarship Program is an esteemed initiative designed to support postgraduate students pursuing advanced degrees in agriculture and related fields. The program aims to foster innovation and advancement in agricultural sciences by providing financial assistance to deserving students.

• Open for female students studying in any year of graduation in agriculture-related courses recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). 
• Students studying in government colleges are eligible to apply. 
• Students from selected locations specified by Corteva Agriscience are eligible to apply. 
• The applicant's annual family income must be ₹6,00,000 or less. 
• Children of employees of Corteva Agriscience and Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Fixed scholarship of INR 25, 000

Students Department: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment  "Dr. Ambedakar Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Post-Matric Scholarships for the Economically Backward Class (EBC) Students" is a Scholarship Scheme by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) students studying at the post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. These scholarships shall be available for studies in India only and will be awarded by the Government of State/Union Territory to which the applicant actually belongs, i.e. permanently settled.

The scholarships will be open to Indian nationals belonging to the General Category (Other than Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes).These scholarships will be given for the study of all recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses pursued in Government institutions.Students pursuing Post-graduate courses in medicine will be eligible if they are not allowed to practice during the period of their course.Students who after failing or passing the undergraduate/Post-Graduate examinations in Arts/Science/Commerce join any recognized professional or Technical certificate/diploma/degree courses will be awarded scholarships if otherwise eligible. No subsequent failure will be condoned except for courses in Group 'A' and no further change in the course will be allowed.Students who pursue their studies through correspondence courses will be eligible towards reimbursement of a non-refundable fee. The term correspondence includes distant and continuing education. Besides reimbursement of non-refundable fees, such students will also be eligible for an annual allowance of Rs. 900/- for essential/prescribed books, as applicable.Only two boys of the same parents/guardians will be entitled to receive scholarships. This restriction will, however, not apply to girls. Accordingly, scholarships availed by girls of the same parents/guardian will not adversely affect the admissibility of availing scholarships upto two boys of the same parents/guardian.

This is an initiative of Ericsson to provide financial support to meritorious girl students coming from underprivileged sections of the society. Under this scholarship program, girl students pursuing studies in the 2nd year of Engineering (IT/CS) or MBA program across India .

• Applicants must have scored at least 6.5 GPA or equivalent marks in the previous final examination.

HDFC Bank Parivartan's Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme provides financial aid to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds facing personal or family crises that threaten their education. Launched under HDFC Bank's Parivartan CSR initiative, it targets those at risk of dropping out due to financial hardship, covering expenses like tuition, books, and hostel fees.

• The applicant must be an Indian national and currently studying in Classes 1 to 12, diploma, ITI, polytechnic, graduate and postgraduate courses in private, government, or government-aided schools.

• The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.

The scheme "Post-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes Candidates" was introduced by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), to enable the students belonging to the weaker sections of society to complete undergraduate courses. The scholarship is provided for studying at the Bachelor's Degree program in various branches of Agriculture viz. B.Sc.(Agri.), B.V.Sc., B.Sc.(Agril. Engg.), B.Sc.(Home Science), B.F.Sc., B.Sc.(Forestry) etc. The value of the scholarship will be ₹ 1,000/- per month along with a contingent grant of ₹ 750/- per annum for the payment of tuition fees, purchase of books, cost of uniforms, etc. The duration of the scholarship will cover the whole of the normal period of the particular degree program to which the candidate is admitted.

This scholarship is exclusively meant for students belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes communities as defined by the Government of India. Only those students who have been admitted to Agricultural Universities in any of the undergraduate degrees programmes of Agriculture & Allied Sciences will be eligible for this scholarship

ICMR- Post Doctoral Fellowship (ICMR-PDF) Scheme is being instituted to foster high-quality research opportunities for promising fresh Ph.D./MD/MS holders in the cutting-edge areas of basic science, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and reproductive health including nutrition at ICMR Institutes /Centers. Special focus will be on fundamental research in areas of science and other priority areas identified by ICMR from time to time. ICMR intends to offer fifty (50) such fellowships every year for working in ICMR Institutes/Centers with state-of-the-art R&D facilities. These fellowships will be allocated by the Director General, ICMR, depending upon the needs of the ICMR Institute/Centre.

• ICMR-PDF is open to Indian nationals only.Fresh PhDs/MD/MS within three years of completing their Ph.D./MD/MS degree (awarded) as on the last date of the application and also those who have received their provisional Ph.D./MD/MS degree can apply.

Infosys Foundation's STEM Stars Scholarship empowers meritorious female students pursuing undergraduate STEM courses across India. Launched as a flagship CSR initiative of Infosys, it addresses gender disparities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing financial support to economically disadvantaged girls from NIRF-ranked institutions. The Buddy4Study India Foundation has been administering this scholarship in recent years.

• The applicant must be an Indian female student.

• The applicant must be enrolled in first-year undergraduate courses at reputable (NIRF-accredited) institutions in STEM-related courses.

INSPIRE Scholarship: Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research, or INSPIRE scholarship is a flagship programme by the Department of Science & Technology of the Government of India. The INSPIRE Scholarship 2024 is intended for exceptional students enrolled in bachelor's and master's programs in Natural and Basic Sciences. This scholarship program awards a total of 10,000 scholarships annually. Each selected recipient, through the SHE scholarship, is granted an annual scholarship of INR 80,000 to support their studies in any field within the Natural or Basic Sciences.

The INSPIRE Scheme is aimed at cultivating and bolstering the essential human resource pool required to fortify the country's science and technology ecosystem while expanding its research and development foundation. A distinctive feature of the INSPIRE scholarship programme is that it refrains from organizing competitive examinations to identify talent at any level. Instead, it places its trust in the efficiency of the existing educational system for talent recognition.

• Applicants must have successfully completed their Class 12 education.
• They should have pursued courses in Natural Sciences at either the B.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. level.
• Applicants should fall within the age bracket of 17 to 22 years.

Internshala Career Scholarship for Girls is an annual award  intended to help advance one girl’s career in her chosen field. Instituted in 2012, the scholarship commemorates the tragic coincidence of Nirbhaya’s (Delhi rape victim) loss of life on the same day as Internshala celebrates its anniversary (29th December). The scholarship is meant to recognise a girl who has fought against odds that restrained her from pursuing the career of her dreams in any field (academics, sports, arts, etc.).

Girls (Indian nationals) between the ages of 17 to 23 years (as of 31st December 2022), i.e., born between 1st January 1999 and 31st December 2005 with a career objective are eligible to apply.

The scholarship is a one-time reward of INR 25,000/-

IOCL Scholarship: The IOCL Scholarship is a financial assistance program offered by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), one of India’s largest public sector oil companies. The Kalinga Sikhya Sathi Yojana is a scholarship and educational support initiative launched by the Government of Odisha to assist students in pursuing higher education. The program aims to provide financial aid and support to meritorious students who may face financial constraints in continuing their studies.

• Interest subsidies will be provided if loan repayments are regular.
• A temporary default in loan repayment for up to 90 days is permitted without affecting interest subsidy eligibility. However, the government will not cover any penal interest charged by the bank during this default period.
• The overall repayment period, as outlined will not be extended.
• If a loan default exceeding 90 days is rectified by repaying the overdue interest and principal, and restoring the account to standard status, the interest subsidy will resume from the date of reinstatement. As in previous cases, the government will not cover penal interest charged by the bank. The overall repayment period, as outlined in the guidelines, will not be extended.
• Interest subsidy applies to fresh education loans sanctioned after 01st April 2016. The subsidy will be paid directly to the lending bank.

• To renew each year, scholars must maintain academic progression (e.g., a minimum of 6 CGPA or equivalent) and demonstrate a good disciplinary record. Renewal is at the discretion of the Kotak Education Foundation.

The Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana was introduced by the Government of Odisha's Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment to help deserving students, especially the children of CM-KISAN beneficiaries, so they can afford higher education in agriculture, engineering, medicine, and related areas.

The L&T Build India Scholarship (BIS) is a flagship industry‑linked scholarship by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) that sponsors meritorious engineering graduates to pursue a 2‑year full‑time M.Tech in Construction Technology & Management at select IITs and NITs, with a clear pathway into L&T’s construction business afterwards.

• The applicant must be in the final year of a B.E./B.Tech degree (or a recent graduate as per that year’s notification) in Civil or core Electrical engineering, usually graduating in the relevant academic year.

Legrand’s scholarship in India is implemented as the Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program, a CSR initiative of Group Legrand India that funds higher education for academically strong but financially constrained girl students and selects special‑category learners. It primarily supports undergraduate degrees in engineering, architecture, science, commerce, and management across recognised Indian institutions.

LG Electronics India's "LIFE'S GOOD" Scholarship Programme is a CSR initiative launched to provide financial support to meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds pursuing higher education. It targets undergraduate and postgraduate students at select institutes across India, with special emphasis on promoting girl child education.

• The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time UG or PG programme in the partner institute of LG.

• The applicant must have scored a minimum of 60% in the previous academic year. However, for the merit category, 75% marks are mandatory.

The Malabar Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by the Malabar Charitable Trust to provide financial aid to meritorious female students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing higher secondary or undergraduate studies.

• The applicant must be pursuing her education at the higher secondary level or above in government schools in selected Indian states.

• The candidate needs to be enrolled in a regular, full-time academic programme. Students who are enrolled via correspondence or distance learning are not permitted to apply.

• The applicant must have successfully completed her 10th grade with a minimum of 50% marks.

Evaluations of the applicant's socioeconomic background and academic achievement will be used to make the selection. Priority will be given to applicants with better academic records and more financial need. Amount of Scholarship Based on Selection Score:

• Scores of 60–100 earn the full ₹10,000.

• Scores of 35–59 qualify for ₹8,000.

• Scores of 10–34 receive ₹6,000.

A scholarship scheme by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education wherein 1,00,000 scholarships is offered to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than ₹3,50,000/- per annum from all sources at the time of selection of awardees for a scholarship. Each State /UT has a fixed quota of scholarships for the concerned age group of class 7th and 8th. The scheme will provide reservations to different categories of students as per the State/UT norms; as different States/UTs have their own norms of reservation.

The parental income of the applicant (from all sources) should be ₹3,50,000 per annum.The applicant must be studying as a regular student and entering class  9th in a government, Government-aided, local body school.A separate examination shall be conducted by the State Governments/UT Administrations for the selection of students for the award of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarships in the States/UTs. The students shall have a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class 7th examination for appearing in selection test conducted during class 8th for the award of scholarship (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST students).

Under this scheme, 1,00,000 fresh scholarships @ Rs. 12,000/- per annum (₹1,000 per month) are awarded to meritorious students every year at the Class IX level, which can be continued up to Class 12th.The sanction of funds will be done from the Annual Budget Provision for releasing them to SBI, the implementing bank for the scheme for disbursal of scholarships, to students directly into their bank accounts by electronic transfer through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).The awardees will be required to open bank accounts preferably in SBI, any public sector bank, or any scheduled bank which has a core banking facility.

The National Overseas Scholarship seeks to empower low-income students from marginalised communities, such as Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers, and Traditional Artisans. The scholarship helps them pursue higher education, such as postgraduate degrees or PhD programmes, by providing opportunities to study abroad.

1. The applicant must not be older than 35 years as of April 1st of the selection year.

2. The applicant must have scored at least 60% or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.

3. The total family income of the applicant must not exceed 8 lakh rupees in the preceding financial year.

4. The candidate must not have previously completed the same level of education (Master's or Ph.D.) either in India or abroad.

• The scholarship comprehensively covers essential expenses, including tuition fees, living allowance, visa charges, medical insurance, and international air travel. 

• The scholarship for the postgraduate programme offers up to ₹12,32,000 per year, along with ₹1,20,000 for contingencies, full tuition coverage, and additional allowances for a duration of 3 years.

• Similarly, the tenure for the PhD programme has been increased to four years.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) provides financial assistance to Indian students pursuing Postgraduate (PG) degree programmes. The scheme aims to support meritorious students in completing higher education without financial constraints.

The scholarship will be awarded initially for a period of one year from the date the student actually takes admission and shall be renewed for the remaining duration of the undergraduate degree program subject to his/her maintenance of good academic performance and conduct as specified by the concerned university.

1. The applicant should be a student pursuing a Bachelors's from an Agricultural University recognized by ICAR, located outside his/her state of domicile.
2.  The applicant should be admitted into the university through the All India Entrance Examination (AIEE).

Nikon Scholarship Program:Nikon Scholarship Program is an initiative of Nikon India Private Limited to financially support students from underprivileged sections of the society to pursue photography-related courses. The scholarship is meant to help students (Class 12 passed onwards) who are enrolled in a photography-related course with a duration of 3 months or more.

Pre Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities is a pristine Prime Minister's 15-point Programme for Minorities intended for the welfare of meritorious students belonging to minority groups. Provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA Scholarship), the purpose of this pre-matric level scheme is ‘Empowerment through Education’, which has the potential to lead to improving minority communities' socioeconomic conditions. Parents from minority communities will be encouraged to send their children to school using the Pre Matric Minority Scholarship, being able to lighten their financial burden and supporting their efforts to ensure that their children complete the basic school education.

As we know, people with disabilities are one of the most marginalized sections of society and are often lacking in terms of opportunities, especially if they are economically disadvantaged. That being said, there are scholarship schemes available for students with disabilities provided by various institutions including the Government of India to uplift these students and provide them with equal opportunities.

It must be noted that to be considered for the Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities, candidates have to be suffering from a proper disability and they also have to be at least 40% disabled. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to children whose parents/guardians belong to one of the following categories, to pursue Pre-Matric education: Tanners, Flayers, Waste Pickers and Persons who are either presently engaged in Manual Scavenging.  

The scholarship will be admissible to the children/wards of Indian Nationals who, irrespective of their religion belong to one of the following categories:
Tanners & Flayers.Waste Pickers.Persons who are Manual Scavengers as defined under section 2(I) (g) of the Manual Scavengers Act 2013.Persons engaged in hazardous cleaning as defined in Section 2(I) (d) of the Manual Scavengers Act 2013.

Other Conditions
The students may not be allowed to take up employment or render help to parents in their work during the course of their studies.The award will be discontinued if a student fails to secure annual promotion except in case of unavoidable reasons to be certified by the Head of the Institution in which the student is studying.If a student violates school discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarships, the scholarship may be suspended or even cancelled, subject to the satisfaction of the competent school authority. Migration of students from one institution to another would not normally be allowed during the course of the academic year except under exceptional circumstances and in the interest of the student's academic career.The scholar obtaining benefits under this scheme is not allowed to avail of benefits under any other pre-matric scholarship scheme.The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick is to be decided by the competent authority of the school.

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) for Railway Protection Force (RPF) was announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in his address to the nation from the historical Red Ford on 15th August 2005. Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for RPF was introduced in the Academic year 2008-09. It was introduced to encourage higher technical and professional education for the dependent wards of Ex/Serving RPF/RPSF personnel and widows (below the Rank of Gazetted officer). 

The dependent wards of Ex/Serving RPF/RPSF personnel and widows (below the Rank of Gazetted officer) are eligible to apply under the scheme.Students who have taken regular admission are only eligible for PMSS.Students should have secured 60% and above in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 12th Std., Diploma/Graduation.The scholarship is admissible for only two wards per family and should be ensured by the beneficiaries as well as by the concerned zonal Railways/RPSF.Only the institutes/universities/colleges having AISHE regulations will be permissible/eligible.Students studying abroad are not eligible for this scheme.No distance learning course is permitted under this scheme. PMSS can be availed for one course only.

2.    Letter from Hon’ble Prime Minister - All applicants selected under the new category will be given a personal letter from Hon’ble Prime Minister in appropriate language.

This scholarship
has been instituted in the memory of Prof. Dash to facilitate higher education in the field of engineering, medicine and liberal arts. In total, six scholarships are awarded - two for the children of permanent employees of IMFA and four for the meritorious students from economically weak families who are permanently domiciled in Odisha.

The Government of Odisha has launched the Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Scheme to reduce the dropout rate among Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. The scheme provides a one-time financial incentive to encourage enrolment and continuation of Secondary and Higher Secondary education.

• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST).

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of odisha.

• The family income of the applicant must be less than 2.5 lakh Indian rupees.

• The applicant must be enrolling in grade 9 or 12.

• The applicant must be enrolled in a government or government-aided high school or higher secondary school within the state.

• One-time incentive of ₹5,000 for eligible ST students admitted to Class IX or Class XI.

• The incentive amount is directly transferred to the student’s bank account.

The SAIL Scholarship is a financial assistance program provided by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of India’s largest steel-making companies. The scholarship aims to support meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those from marginalized communities, in pursuing higher education in various fields.

• Students from SC/ST categories pursuing Engineering or other professional courses.
• Must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous academic year

INR 1,800 per month.

Samsung Stars Scholarship was launched by Samsung Electronics Private Limited to provide this scholarship opportunity to students who are pursuing professional courses. Under this scholarship, financial help will be provided to the student so that they can continue their higher education without worrying about any financial hurdles. 

• The scholarship is available for student(s) who have graduated from any JNV (10th or 12th-grade pass), run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
• Currently pursuing a full-term BE/B. Tech/Dual Degree (B.Tech +M.Tech) course (“Degree Course”) in an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in India as mentioned in the list of Institutes available on the Samsung India Star Scholar website (hereinafter ”Institute”). Any other courses like B.ARCH/BSC/MSC etc. are not cover under this Program.

Selected Applicants will be entitled to annual scholarship amount up to Indian Rupees Two Lakh (INR 2,00,000/-) only for expenses related to tuition fee including (examination fee & registration fee), hostel and mess expenses only as certified by Institute Dean/authorized PIC in the student application form and as specifically mentioned in section 7 of these Rules.

The SBI ASHA Scholarship (also known as the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship) is a flagship CSR programme run by the SBI Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the State Bank of India. Launched under the Integrated Learning Mission (ILM), it provides financial aid to meritorious students from low-income families across India to support school, undergraduate, postgraduate, and specialised education, preventing dropouts due to economic constraints.

• For classes 6-12, the student must have scored at least 75% in the previous year's examination. And the household income must be less than 3 lakh rupees. 50% of seats will be reserved for the female students.

• Undergraduate students must be enrolled in an NIRF Top 100 institution and have scored at least 75% in the examination from the previous year. The family income of the student must be less than 6 lakh rupees; however, preference will be given for the family income with less than 3 lakh rupees.

• Postgraduate students must be enrolled in one of the NIRF top 100 institutions and have scored at least 75% in the preceding year’s examination. 

• The student must be an Indian citizen.

• School (6–12): ₹15,000/year

• Undergrad (General): Up to ₹50,000

• IIT Students: Up to ₹2,00,000

• PG (General): Up to ₹70,000

• IIM (MBA/PGDM): Up to ₹7,50,000

• Study Abroad (SC/ST): Up to ₹20 lakh/year (or 50% of expenses)

SBIF ASHA Scholarship for Higher Education: The SBIF Asha Scholarship is an initiative by the SBI Foundation, the corporate social respaonsibility (CSR) arm of the State Bank of India (SBI). This scholarship program is part of the SBI Foundation’s efforts to promote education and support students from economically weaker sections of society in pursuing higher education.

Meritorious students from economically weaker sections (EWS) pursuing professional courses.

Varies based on the course and the financial need of the student.

Department: Ministry Of Labour and Employment          
A scholarship scheme by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Ministry of Labour and Employment wherein financial assistance for education is provided to the Wards of Beedi/Iron Ore Mines, Manganese Ore & Chrome Ore Mines (IOMC)/Limestone Mines, Dolomite Mines (LSDM)/Mica Mines and Cine Workers, varying from ₹1,000/- to ₹25,000/- per student per annum. 

Candidates for the award of scholarships should have taken regular admission for studies at recognized institutions in India in any course of general or technical education, including medical, engineering, and agricultural studies. The total monthly Income of the Worker’s family from all sources should not exceed under:-Beedi Workers - ₹10,000/-; Mine Workers –
a)   The Mineworkers doing manual, unskilled, highly skilled, and clerical work is eligible for availing all facilities under different welfare schemes of the Labour Welfare Organization irrespective of the wages paid to them.
b)   The persons employed in supervisory and managerial capacities are eligible for availing of the facilities under different welfare schemes subject to the wage limit of ₹10,000/- per month.
c)   Cine workers – An amount not exceeding ₹8,000/- per month where such amount is paid monthly or an amount not exceeding ₹1,00,000/- where it is paid by way of lump sum or installments; as remuneration of a cine worker for the purpose of this Act.
The Applicant must have passed the last qualifying examination on the first attempt. However, Students promoted to the next class are also eligible.Either of the parents of the students should be Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, and Cine workers with at least six months of service. This also includes Contract/Gharkhata (Home Based) workers also. The Educational Institute must be Government/Government Recognized Institute.Students who receive scholarships or stipends from any other source will not be granted under this Scheme. The Scholar should have a separate bank account. In the case of Joint accounts, the first name should be of the Scholar.More than one child of the same worker also should furnish a separate bank account number.

Department: Ministry Of Textiles The Scholarship Scheme for Girl Children of Jute Mills/MSME Workers is a welfare measure that provides financial incentives to the daughters of workers in jute mills and MSMEs after they pass their secondary and higher secondary exams. The scheme aims to encourage girls to continue their education and become employable, and to encourage workers to stay in the jute industry and reduce attrition rates. The scheme also aims to improve relations between millers and workers and help jute mills and MSMEs face fewer labor problems. 

• Scholarship to the girl children on Passing out the Examination in 2021(2021-22), 2022 (2022-23), 2023 (2023-24), 2024 (2024-25), 2025 (2025-26) - Total 5 Years (2021-26) 15th Finance Commission period.The scheme will be applicable to the girl children of the workers of Jute Mills and MSME - JDP units engaged in the production of jute prod

The Government of India, through the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, implements the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students to promote quality higher education among Scheduled Caste (SC) students. The scheme provides full financial support to meritorious SC students admitted to premier institutions in India.

• Applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

• Student must have secured admission in a notified institution after Class 12.

• Must be pursuing a full-time course.

• Only First-Year students are eligible.

• Annual family income should not exceed ₹8,00,000.

• Maximum two students per family can avail the scholarship.

• Full tuition fees and non-refundable charges paid by the Government for students in Central Government institutions.

• Up to ₹2,00,000 per year towards tuition fees for students studying in notified private institutions.

Students seeking mineral industry careers can apply for many scholarships from the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME). These scholarships recognise academic excellence, leadership, and professional dedication. Individual awards have different eligibility requirements, but applicants must be active SME student members with strong academic performance, genuine interest in mining and minerals, and potential to contribute to the industry's future.

• The applicant must not be more than 35 years old as of April 1st of the selection year.

• The applicant must score at least 60% or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. This is a bachelor's degree for a master's programme and a master's degree for a Ph.D. programme.

• The total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8 lakh in the preceding financial year.

• The applicant must not have previously completed the same level of education (Master's or Ph.D.) either in India or abroad.

Top 100 students in the State on the basis of the 10th Board result are given INR 50,000/- each as cash incentive.    At district level, top 3000 students of all districts on the basis of 10th Board result are given INR 10,000/- each as cash incentive.  Top 100 students from each Block on the basis of 10th Board result are given INR 5000/- each as cash incentive.

One male student per school are given INR 3,000/- each as a cash incentive on the basis of marks scored in the student leadership rubric. (Total Male Award:8311)    One female student per school is given INR 3,000/- each as a cash incentive on the basis of marks scored in the student leadership rubric. (Total Female Award:8807)

Top 2000 students from the state from NFSA/SFSS category are rewarded INR 50,000/- each (One time).

Department: Skill Development & Technical Education Department : Sudakshya for Girls Child Scholarship is specially designed for the General/ ST/ SC/ OBC/ SEBC/ EBC category girl child of Odisha state. under this scholarship scheme, the government is going to provide financial help to the students. Girl students who win the award will get cash benefits. The scholarship is only for girls who are pursuing ITI courses in any trade.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Program is a prestigious initiative aimed at supporting talented and deserving students in Class 11 and 12 by providing financial assistance to help them continue their education. The program is designed to encourage academic excellence and support the holistic development of students across India.

This Scholarshipsupports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview. Currently Vidyadhan program has around 8000 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladhak, Bihar, Jarkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

"Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students" is a Scholarship Scheme by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.  The primary objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from poor families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.

Wards/widows of deceased Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles (ARs) personnel who died in harness/election duty, wards of personnel disabled due to causes attributable to Government service, and Wards of Ex CAPFs & AR personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards.Wards/widows of retired and serving CAPFs & AR Personnel. (Personnel below Officer Rank)Pursuing first professional degree programme in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA and MCA, etc. in accordance with the guidelines as mentioned in Para- 8 (B).Having a minimum of 60% marks in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) i.e. 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent in case of a new applicant. (OR) For applicants applying under the renewal category, it is mandatory to pass each subsequent academic year of the professional courses being pursued by them with a minimum of 50% marks.

The benefits under the scheme is as follows:
Amount of Scholarship:
•    ₹3,000/- per month for girls.
•    ₹2,500/- per month for boys 
Note: The above scholarship amount is to be paid annually after selection @ ₹36,000/- to each girl & ₹30,000/- to each boy.
Duration of Scholarship:
Up to 5 years (depending upon the duration of the course being pursued by the applicant and as approved by the respective regulatory body).
