Dr. Ranjan Dash (born 1976, Hillapalli village, Sambalpur, Odisha) is an accomplished Indian industrialist and materials scientist. He completed his B.Tech. in Ceramic Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in 1998, and later earned both an MBA and a Ph.D. from Drexel University. He is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Y-Carbon, a company focused on advanced materials innovation. Dr. Dash co-founded the organisation to commercialise a technology he developed during his research at the A.J. Nanotechnology Institute, with a strong emphasis on materials science and engineering applications.
