Miss Radhika Karmakar hails from Dibrugarh (Assam). Her father Abhiram Karmakar is a Tea Garden Worker and her mother Lilima Karmakar is a homemaker. She had so many dreams to pursue her career in nursing but being the eldest daughter in the family she started working in a tea garden as a temporary labourer because her father’s income was very low. 

Miss. Radhika also heard about Tech skill Training news and left her tea garden job which was not her dream. 

She had chosen the domain Sewing Machine Operator. She was placed at Frontier Knitters Pvt. Ltd. in Tamilnadu as a Sewing Machine Operator. She earned Rs.7500/- per month at the joining time and finished the On-the-job training of three weeks at Frontier Knitters Pvt. Ltd. to gain knowledge about all the operations and departments of stitching. 

Radhika chooses garment stitching as her choice of a full-time career in the garment industry. Now she is getting a salary of Rs. 14900/- month.
