OES officers manage educational administration and academic supervision. They oversee school operations, monitor the Mid-Day Meal scheme, implement RTE Act guidelines, and handle teacher recruitment and training. Working primarily in the School & Mass Education Department, they serve as District Education Officers (DEO) or Block Education Officers (BEO) to enhance literacy and schooling quality.
