A Clinical Psychologist assesses, diagnoses, and treats mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders using evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic approaches. They work in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools, corporate settings, and private practice. In India, independent practice requires RCI licensing and completion of an RCI-recognised MPhil or PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Dr Nibedita Mohanty is a distinguished mental health professional with over 10 years of experience, specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Parenting. With an M.Phil. in Counselling and Clinical Psychology from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, she is currently pursuing her PhD.
