Neeraj Kumar is one of the most decorated and distinguished officers of the Indian Police Service (batch of 1976). After an illustrious career of 37 years, during which he led, arguably, India's most remarkable investigations, Kumar superannuated from service in 2013 as Commissioner of Police, Delhi. Soon after retirement, Kumar wrote his first book, 'Dial D for Don', in which he chronicled 11 police investigations that he led during his nine-year stint in the Central Bureau of Investigation.
